Oh my days - staffie peeps - we have a treat for you! Meet Breeze Breeze is a fabulous little piggy-staffie girl, super-friendly, and absolutely gorgeous! We would say Breeze is 'high-energy' but that hardly begins to describe her! She has only two speeds - asleep and million-miles-an-hour! If she's had any training she wasn't of a mind to set out her CV for us today Fortunately Breeze is verrrrry partial to treats! And we discovered she could be persuaded to drop to the floor momentarily in exchange for a instantaneous reward. But all she really wants to do is to hurl herself at your for big fat staffie snogs! Watch out Aunty Sooz - I'm coming in! Breeze is microchipped, but the staff have been unable to contact her owner, as and yet no-one has come forward for her. Here she comes again! Pucker up for the most enthusiastic staffie snog ever! Shutter speed 1/60th of a second! Got it! We can't wait to meet Breeze out on her walks! Sunday Pilgrims - hang on to your hollihocks - Breeze will be on the walkers list! If you would like more information, or would like to meet Breeze, please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. We met beautiful Breeze earlier this morning. Although she wasn't allowed out of her kennel today her personality came shining through 😊 She will find a home that deserves her very soon, no doubt about that 💖

So today my brother, my son and lastly myself got to walk Breeze. She is such a beautiful girl and an absolute dream to walk.
My brother is hoping to adopt her so we have everything crossed that the home thinks they are a match. It will be a tense few days waiting 😬

I was lucky enough to get first dib's this morning and take Breeze out for her first walkies It's worth getting up on a cold, wet Sunday sometimes! Breeze really is a little pocket rocket, she had been in her kennel for a few days so she had a lot of energy to burn, and just really wanted to get on with her walk after a quick Staffie snog and cuddle Breeze is good on the lead, not really pulling, but was zig-zagging down the lane so watch out! She makes fab little piggy Staffie snorts, and does love a fuss and cuddle, and Staffie snogs! aka Face washes Early on a Sunday morning down by the Graffiti bridge, the last thing I expected to see was two offlead dogs, it's normally so quiet down there and it's like a ' safe spot ' for me. I called for the owners and I could only see dogs and no humans , but Breeze was very well behaved and just had a waggy tail. If it was another dog it could have not gone so well...... Anyhow, it was very hard to get a picture as Breeze is so active! If i stopped she just wanted to zoom at me for kisses! I have a feeling this lovely girl is going to be very popular and won't be waiting around long for her forever home

Ooooh, what a gorgeous girl Breeze is! We took her out Sunday morning and she is even more beautiful in person. Out she bounced, full of beans and ready to go, snorting happily the whole way along the lane. As we reached the grass in the estate Breeze did a perfect impression of John McClane crawling through the vents, showing off her muscly shoulders as she seemed to sink lower to the ground to make the most of the lovely soft grass. It made me laugh so much and though Breeze was very focused on going onwards, she was never pulling more than manageable, and once we left the grass she pretty much stopped pulling (and crawling. those muscly shoulders of hers are just gorgeous!). It took Breeze a short while to warm up to us but once she did she was constantly looking back to check on us and stop for cuddles and a fuss. Treats were a big help in winning over her trust but I think the many cwtches we had also helped. This little lady just loves a cuddle and the minute we sat down on a bench, she'd be trying to wriggle up onto our laps for some much deserved attention. The Home was very busy on Sunday with walkers and visitors galore, and Breeze passed a lot of dogs without any issue. People were definitely more interesting to her and her tail would always go into overdrive whenever someone approached or passed us. At one point we crossed paths with Cooper and his walkers, and stopped for a quick chat so they could say hello to Breeze. Both dogs behaved brilliantly (and were kept a nice distance apart, of course), though after a few minutes Breeze got impatient with just sitting around and let out a very excited and playful bark at Cooper. He kept quiet and we parted ways, but Breeze looked like she was ready to go bounding about with Cooper in the grass. She's such a loving and playful girl! On our way back Breeze had slowed down considerably compared to her initial burst of energy, and walked beautifully at our sides or just ahead of us. She takes treats very gently and after a little encouragement we got a sit, but Breeze just wanted to be close to us more than anything. She has a case of the sneezes on our walk and ended up scratching the top of her nose when she, very dramatically, sneezed right into some gravel, but she didn't make a fuss and was happy to let me quickly clean off the cut to check it wasn't anything more serious. This is one gorgeous, loveable little lady and I'd be so surprised if she's not snapped up in the next few weeks!

Hi breeze was still there at the weekend but you should call the home and ask the staff for the latest information on her. 02920711243 Or you could just pop down there. If she's not there now there may just be another dog who steals your heart!

I do hope if they have a meet they hit it off. Would love to be able to see them both in a loving forever home and I'd still get to see them if you are passing the shop. Have got everything crossed and can't wait to have a catch up with you to see what you decided 💞.
