Here's a face to make you smile! How could anyone be depressed with Walter about ? This lovely lad was handed in to the Dogs' Home as his owners suffered a change in circumstances, so he is ready to leave at any time. Walter is a Labrador x Spaniel, and only 12 months old, so he is all about the play, and boy, he keeps going for a long time ! How could a dog of that breeding not love retrieving? Because of his exhuberance, the home would prefer him to live in a home where any children were over 5/6 years old and he is probably not suitable for first time owners as all that energy needs to be channelled appropriately. In the right home he will be a really super dog. TEL NEWPORT CITY DOGS HOME on 01633 290 902 between 11am - 1pm or 2pm - 4pm, or pop in for a visit! No appointment needed! Rehoming fees are from £100 - £200 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment, and microchip. It is a condition of the rehoming contract that all dogs are neutered/spayed aged six months. Subsidised vouchers are available at £35, this is in addition to the rehoming fee. All applicants will be homechecked prior to approval.

What a lovely face, like a black version of the youngster I adopted from Cardiff last year. When I rang Newport on the weekend they said he was already rehomed for walter and his family.

Walter has been adopted already, but do keep looking! Both Cardiff Dogs Home and Newport City Dogs Home get new dogs in on a daily basis xx
