It’s puppy time again! This little bundle of fun was found two days ago, dumped in a box, in the woods. She is only about 8 – 10 weeks old but is very lively, playful and feisty. Her coat is, even now, quite wiry, and I would guess that she is a mixture of terrier types and won’t grow very big. Just named “Macey”, by staff, she is a delightful and very playful little girl. She loves balls and soft toys and played with Llewella and I for ages, in the rehoming hub. Such a tiny baby, she needs to find a loving home, where she will be safe, loved and helped to grow into a great adult. If you are interested in finding out more about Macey, please contact NEWPORT CITY DOGS HOME for more information. TEL 01633 290 902 between 11am - 1pm or 2pm - 4pm, on weekdays. 11am - 1pm or 2pm - 3.30pm Saturday. Please note: the home is CLOSED on Sundays. Rehoming fees are from £100 - £200 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment, and microchip. It is a condition of the rehoming contract that all dogs are neutered/spayed aged six months. Subsidised vouchers are available at £35, this is in addition to the rehoming fee.

Hello I'm interested in Macey, we have 3 dogs aleady all rescues 2 elderly ones of 14/15 and nearly 17 and a pug cross of 6. We live just outside Bridgend and have a large garden and many other animals inc 2 cats, ducks, geese, chickens, doves and a house rabbit called Bob. No children.
Do you think we would be suitable adopters for Macey?
All our house pets are neutered except Bob. Thanks Carin & NIgel Harris
