Please give a warm welcome to Roxy Roxy is a super-friendly ABD girl in the prime of life! She has a slightly undershot jaw, which makes her look a bit studious, but this girl is a barrel of laughs! She is verrrrrrry friendly, affectionate and playful, and has lived with children and other dogs. Roxy is no stranger to Newport City Dogs Home. She has been left to her own devices on times, and whenever the wardens have picked her up and brought her to the Home for her own safety she has greeted the staff like old friends! Take me to my kennel please! And if room service could bring me some lunch I'd be VERY grateful!Roxy isn't particularly high-energy, but like all dogs she was glad to have the chance of some zoomies around the garden! If you'd like to meet Roxy please pop down to Newport City Dogs Home! We promise you won't be disappointed - she is a good-to-go all rounder! For more information, or if you would like to meet Roxy, please contact the staff at Newport City Dogs' Home on 01633 290 902 between 11am - 1pm or 2pm - 4pm, Monday to Saturday or pop in for a visit! Rehoming fees are from £100 - £200 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment, and microchip. It is a condition of the rehoming contract that all dogs are neutered/spayed and Roxy will be booked in for spaying before she is rehomed. No more puppies for this darling girl! It's time she had the chance to just enjoy being a pet! All applicants will be homechecked prior to approval.

Hoping to walk this darling girl tomorrow! I've not had the pleasure yet - only met her coming in and out of her kennel, which she has done with such good grace for me. However a number of walkers have taken Roxy out over the last week and the overwhelming response is what a delight she is to take out! She been described as "an ambassador for her breed!" Gorgeous girl!!

I can confirm Roxy is a pleasure to take out. Gentle on the lead, an occasional play bow on route, looks for a bit of assurance when loud heavy lorry speed passed (don't blame her made me jump!). She walked passed other dogs without a care in the world, see you later Roxy. (video on fb) Bx

Roxy has been rehomed - she has a fabulous forever family! If you are looking for an ABD check out Bambo in the Cardiff dogs for adoption - he's a dream!

Thank you very much for letting me know and really pleased she has a great forever home! Had a look at Bambo and although he does look like a great dog he's probably a little on the large side for me.
