Please welcome the sweet scrumminess that is Lexi
This little beaut has only just arrived at the Home. She looks in fabulous condition, and judging from her coat she has recently been clipped ready for the warm weather!
Like many newbies, Lexi is taking a little while to settle into the routine of kennel life, and she is still a little anxious at her recent change of circumstances.
After a little toilet break by the river, we took Lexi into the vet room for a little 'getting to know you' time. She seemed hyper sensitive to the sound of children playing outside in the car park area...
And indeed, to sounds coming from the corridor.... She is clearly missing her family badly.
Lexi is an affectionate, if worried little lady, but she clearly loves to be around people..
She chose the best seat in the house today, Aunty Janet's lap!
And by way of a 'thank you' she gives free kisses!
While we were in the vet room Lexi could hear Baldrick in the next room, who clearly wanted to say 'Hi'.....
If Lexi's owners don't come forward for her, she will be available for rehoming from 20th April. She decided she had better get used to the idea that she might be with us for a little while, and asked if she could look at the menu at the Hotel du Dogues!
Ahhhhhh! They serve BURNS
Best check out the nutritional information first Lexi! You don't want to lose that cute little waist!
If Lexi's owners don't come forward for her she will be available for rehoming from 20th April, but the staff take applications on incoming strays from the minute they arrive, so if you'd like to meet her be quick!
