Please give a warm Friends welcome to Remy
This little lad is just 11 months old and has been signed over to the Home by his owner through no fault of his own.
Remy is (by his owner's admission) a bit of a diva
Remy is used to the finer things in life, but he would happily exchange his silver salver and sheepskin bed for lots of high energy exercise and plenty of boredom busting activities. Remy has become a little attention-seeking, and can be quite vocal if he thinks his loyal subjects aren't paying him quite enough attention
Remy has lived with other dogs, and simply adores making new friends, so we think he would prefer to live in a household with other dogs for company.
Remy had a blast in the garden today with Sonia, a volunteer's young dog...
A quick pit-stop at the watering hole...
Although Cavi coats are fairly easy to maintain, their ears needs constant attention! They get dunked into water bowls and food bowls, amd it's important to have a regular ear-hygiene routine to keep their ears in tip top condition!
As we are expecting quite a lot of interest in Remy, the staff will be accepting more than the usual three applications, and will be shortlisting down to three once we have had a chance to get to know Remy a little better, and know what sort of home he would like. Remy has been booked into the vets for his big boys operation this week, so he won't be leaving us until he has fully recovered.
If you would like to meet Remy Please contact NEWPORT CITY DOGS HOME for more information. TEL 01633 290 902 between 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm, on weekdays, 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 3.30pm on Saturday. Please note: the home is CLOSED on Sundays.
For more information about the adoption process please see our Facebook Notes File HERE
As we anticipate a great deal of interest from potential rehomers, the staff will take more than the usual 3 applications and will shortlist to 3 at the end of the week.
