Jack is a fabulous 10 years young terrier who would love to meet his new family! He had a great time in the garden doing his own thing, pottering about sniffing everything in sight. Such a sweet boy, and at 10 years old he's still got lots of life to live and love to give. If you'd like to meet Jack call Cardiff dogs home on 02920711243 or pop in 10am to 4pm, 7 days a week

We walked Jack today, he was really excited when he came out of his kennel and a little vocal but he soon calmed down and we settled into a lovely walk. He was very good on the lead, not interested in passing dogs, walkers or joggers and not bothered by traffic. We had a walk to Grangemoor Park where we stopped briefly for Jack to have a rest and a drink. Forgot our treats today so he didn't get anything (sorry Jack). But he did enjoy looking at the ducks on the river. He had plenty of energy for an old guy and was a pleasure to walk. Good luck Jack!

I came to visit this handsome dog as I was looking for an older dog to keep my middle aged bitch company as she has always had a dog friend to talk to- as sadly uncle Tolly passed away, she misses him a lot .
Before we were introduced I pictured a steady older dog as Jack is 10years old--Not a bit of it Jack is so full of life, slim, fit, trim with clear eyes and good teeth I really felt he would die of boredom if he came home with us, so on reflection we thought we would leave this little star for someone equaly young at heart, he is not ready for retirement yet.

Aw that's a shame Helen but if he's not right for your family he's right for someone else's. Did you see any other oldies there? I haven't been down for a week or so but perhaps socks is there? Lovely old Staffie girl x

I walked Jack today. It was his second walk of the day but he was still happy to be walked. Gentle nature and very friendly, hope he finds his forever home soon.

A total of ten dogs have trotted off to their forever home in two days! Jack was one of them - he left the building yesterday - Happy Days

Jack has settled so well into his forever home. It's only been a week and it feels like he's been here for ever! He's met all of his new family now and made new dog friends in the park. He LOVES his walks and cuddles galore. He's very clever, very funny and the absolute light of our lives!
