How adorable is this little face Kayleigh was brought into Cardiff Dogs Home by a member of the public. The staff were told by the finder that Kayleigh was found tied with a lead to another of our new incomers, Evelyn Akita, so it's likely the two dogs have lived together. Kayleigh is a little on the chubby side, and a little bit anxious, but it didn't take long to find out that Kayleigh's favourite thing in the whole world is a soft squeaky ball! Once she had it, she couldn't bear to be parted with it, and she was quite happy to amuse herself quietly... For dogs who come in with nothing, having a little toy they can call their own means more to them than anyone could possibly imagine. When Kayleigh was ready to go back to her kennel, we invited her to take the toy with her, but she decided she wanted to bury it instead... For safekeeping... If Kayleigh's owners don't come forward to claim her she will be available for rehoming from 25th October. If you would like to meet Kayleigh or any of the dogs for rehoming please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm.
