Oooooh Rodders Gotta love a shaggy terrier lurcher - Rodney is definitely my kind guy! Rodney was brought in as a stray. That doesn't mean he was born in the woods and raised by wolves, and it doesn't mean he dragged himself up on the streets of Cardiff. It just means his owners have abandoned him. How could they? Rodney was a little subdued, but very affectionate when we brought him out for his photo's. He just wanted cuddles... And he was happiest when Miss Lesley found his sweet spot! Oooooooh there it is! Rodders clearly has sweet spots a-plenty! His long legs come in very handy for scritching We tried to interest Rodders in some toys... Good catch! And we finally found one he wanted to take back to his kennel... As no-one has come forward to claim him, Rodney is available for rehoming from 6th January, and if you'd like to meet him please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. For more information about the rehoming process at Cardiff Dogs Home, please click here

Oh my goodness - Rodney is gorgeous! I took him out for the first time today and he really is lovely. He can be a little excitable during the walk and likes to jump up occasionally - but I think he’s a smart cookie and would be trained in no time. He’s just doing it because he wants a bit of attention - he’s a proper cuddle monster given half a chance! He’s adorable when he’s walking nicely on the lead as he keeps checking back at you and occasionally touching your leg with his nose. He could do with a bit of a doggy spa day as he’s a bit whiffy at the moment - but nothing that couldn’t be sorted with a bath and it didn’t stop me giving him lots of cuddles. He’s a lovely dog that deserves a forever sofa asap - I don’t think he’ll be waiting long so if you think he may be for you, get down to CDH pronto!

Hi friends I'm Rodney a young Lurcher pup, I'm only 6 months old and I'm a newbie to the Hotel. Alex took men out today on my first walk and gosh I enjoyed it so much just like a pup should. I was so exited when I came out I didn't know what to do 🙈🙈🙈 I am very interested in bicycles and runners, I find them very amusing and I cannot keep my eyes of them. Once they go passed I want to catch up with them and join them, but Alex told me no 🙈👀😂 We also went down by the lake at these big massive white things came over to us, gosh I was so intrigued I just stared and woofed a quiet woof hehehehe.
