Please whisper a very gentle welcome to Amber, who has literally just arrived at Cardiff Dogs Home Amber is clearly in her senior years The staff haven't put her in a kennel, they have made up a bed for her in the office, and she will be staying there tonight under the watchful eyes of the night attendant. We took her outside for a gentle trot around the grounds for a toilet break this evening. Amber is a little underweight, but her coat is glossy and shiny as a new pin, and she looks like she is a well cared-for girl. She was brought in by a member of the public and although no-one has yet reported her missing, we can only hope and pray that her owners will come forward for her. Because she deserves better than to be abandoned to her fate at her age. She was grateful for titbits of fresh chicken, which she took so gently from our fingers... We would love nothing more than to announce that Amber has been returned to her owners before the weekend is out... But if she has been deliberately dumped, Amber will be available for rehoming from 14th January. If you'd like to meet her please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. I hope this beautiful chocolate is reunited with her owner but I would love to be considered to adopt her if she isn’t that lucky.

Hi, if you need an experienced labrador home I would be very interested, I have 4 girls aged 23 months to 12+ the oldest is an Irish rescue and she has slowed down and is very social so she would love a companion of a similar age.

Thank you petalWe've been told by staff they Amber now has a number of excellent rehoming offers and they are not accepting anymore at this time. She should hopefully be leaving the building soon. ☺️ Hi, if you need an experienced labrador home I would be very interested, I have 4 girls aged 23 months to 12+ the oldest is an Irish rescue and she has slowed down and is very social so she would love a companion of a similar age.
