Hi all, I'm Gavin from Cardiff. I don't have a pet to introduce as I lost my girl Suki in October 2016, she was 16 and was my life, and it's only now I can really even talk about her without getting upset. But I still visit this site to see how I can help raise money. I'm not sure if anyone has posted this yet, but I discovered that I can donate a portion of my eBay sales to Friends of Dogs, so I now donate 20% of all my ebay sales to you guys. If you're unsure how to do this, I'll show you. I hope it's OK to post this here, I didn't know you could do this on ebay so was pleased I can help you guys out as you do a fab job, so thank you. And I know when I'm ready, my next best friend will be coming from you wonderful people. Firstly, set up an ebay account if you don't already, then in the top of the screen select "Sell". Follow the on screen instructions on how to sell, then on the selling screen, towards the bottom, you'll see the "Make a donation" button. Tick this then select "Or select a charity you love" Once you have done this, a screen will open, and if you search for "Friends of dogs" (see below) then when you see Friends of Dogs wales in the list, click "Select" When you've selected "Friends of Dogs Wales", you'll be taken back to the main page. You can then select what percentage to donate. Once you've done this, finish your listing and you'll then donate a portion of your sale to Friends of Dogs. As you can see below, so far I've sold £338 on eBay, so about £65 will be coming to Friends of Dogs

You're more than welcome, happy to help and I think this feature of ebay should be shouted from the rooftops I'm sure I'm not the only ebayer here and giving a little back can always help. Also, I just read on ebay that if you donate to a charity on your items you're selling, it says so in the ebay listings which can increase your sales, so it's a win win for all involved.

thanks for the tip! I have a ton of things to throw on ebay soon, and i'm a frequent ebayer so I have no idea how I haven't noticed this before! I know you can also use easyfundraising, which I think works in a similar way to cashback, but the money goes to a charity of your choice instead
