Please give a warm welcome to Pancake This adorable little lady arrived on Shrove Tuesday. She just a youngster, not chipped, but we couldn't put her into a kennel without a name could we? She really is a tiny little thing! We put a 2kg bag of Burns next to her, so you can see her size.... And Pancake seemed to approve of the menu choice at the Hotel du Dogues! Even though the bag is bigger than her! Don't worry Pancake, you don't have to eat it all! Hopefully Pancake will find a forever home pretty quickly if she isn't reclaimed If you'd like to meet her please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. Hi we have been looking for a wee furry friend to join our home for months now and just keep getting pipped to the post at the adoption stage. My husband and I lost our last pet last year and now feel we have grieved enough and would love to have a four-legged companion to snuggle up to us on an evening, entertain us through the day and keep us feeling younger and more active with many walks throughout the day. We would love to come and view Pancake but may not be able to get there until Monday, would Pancake still be open for applications by this time do you think?

Pretty girls like Pancake don't hang around long. Our volunteers update the forum about twice a week, but very often casual visitors to the Home get to see and complete applications for the dogs before they appear on our forum. Young dogs, small breeds, pedigrees and 'designer crossbreeds' all tend to get lots of interest from the minute they arrive, so if you are looking to adopt it's a good idea to pop into the centres on spec to see if there are any new arrivals. I'm pretty sure Pancake is already spoken for. But do keep looking. The dog who needs you most will find you As long as you are quick
