Please welcome Willow Willow is a stunning young crossbreed who was brought in to Cardiff Dogs Home as a stray. She is microchipped, but has 'changed hands' a few times in her young life and the microchip details haven't been updated, so the staff have been unable to trace her current owners. She hasn't been reported missing, so we can only assume she has been dumped. That's a proper cheeky tongue-out-Tuesday pic Willow Willow seems in reasonable condition generally, although she does have a few very strange puncture wounds which we noticed when we took her into the vet room for some off-lead romps She also has sore skin around her shoulders, but she's a brave girl and apart from being a little itchy it doesn't seem to bother her one little bit. Willow is very friendly, and rather partial to cuddles! She loves treats too - and was happy to slap her paw into our hands in exchange for a bit of pate Which she took very gently from our fingers If you'd like to meet Willow please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. I walked Willow two days ago and she was an absolute joy. So eager for kisses and cuddles, and very responsive - she will listen whenever you speak, waits patiently at lights and was also happy to play - she has a particular fondness for playing fetch with a good stick! Willow really is a beautiful dog. So full of love, and I really do think she'll make someone very happy one day.

Hi everyone beautiful Willow here. Alex says I have a beautiful name because I'm a beautiful pup 😜🤗 As you can all see I have to wear this cone of shame, gosh it gets in the way so much when I want cuddles. I have a bard ear but don't worry it is on the mend and the cone will be off before I know it 😘 Me and Al went for a lovely walk today, I am very laid back and take everything and everyone in my stride. I sit, don't pull on the lead, love cuddles and treats.. When I can get to them with my cone head 🤦♀️🙈 Alex doesn't think I'll be here long but to be honest I'm happy just plodding along and taking in every moment hehehe 💜😘💜😘

Willow stole quite a few hearts in the short time she was at CDH
But, most importantly she has found the love of a wonderful family!!
