HELP!

oh Alfie My pair always do this after a bath, Fudgie does it if he has a thorn somewhere (Bas's coat is fairly impenatrable to thorns). Steph, have you been out walking? Where? There is a bit of fieldy wasteland I take mine to, and twice (2 years apart maybe)? by the time we got home they were both thrashing around. I'm pretty sure someone had dumped chemicals - they couldn't stop biting their paws too. And the second time it happened I had a foster in too, and the three of them were pretty distressed. A few days later I went down there (not with the dogs) and there was a great big swathe of dead grass & shrubbery - I mean massive I don't take them there anymore Soz hon, if it was something going on with his ears, would he be thrashing around? Wouldn't that make it worse for him? Have you got any metacam? See if it soothes him? Have you felt his coat all over for thorns? I can never see them in Fudgie, I have to 'fingertip search', my hands tell me, not my eyes. Keep us updated Steph, *hugs* to you and Alf

Cheers, since I posted I've bathed him with the plug in (mental idea!) , rubbed him all over and rinsed everywhere.
Hes had his tea but is still rubbing his feet around and being a temporary bucking bronco thing , I'm thinking hes got dog style paper cuts on his feet maybe? cant be much fun,,
Just wish i could help him somehow.
We were on Llantwit beach / path this avo, he met the first dog that could run faster than him,, owners were well impressed he gave theirs a good run for its money. .. perhaps that hasnt helped,, grass seed maybe?!
ho hum, thanks Susie xx

He was all fixed about an hour after the bath yesterday! Its just so scary when there is something wrong and as a new dog owner I had little clue how to help. Im glad the bath helped though.
thank you x now he is fast asleep on my feet on the bean bag!! Cute!
