i met Jake today he seems lush, we have two bossy girl dogs though, which he'd have to get along with to come home with us. With this in mind could i take him for a morning/ afternoon day to see how he would get along with ours at the beach? thanks s

He/you wouldn't be insured (the walkers are covered by the Council's insurance, subject to the walkers' terms & conditions), and this doesn't permit travelling in a vehicle. The home don't do 'trial days' (or half days) but... Have you asked the staff if you could bring your girls to the Home to introduce them? See how they get on for walk together, there is some very useful information about parallel walking hereGood luck ;D Let us know how you get on! Susie x

Hi can i book to bring one of my dogs for a meet and walk on sat morning with Jake? thanks S Skye - pop down to the home, you'll need to let the staff know, and check that he doesn't already have reserves already. If you can't get down there tomorrow, give them a ring and let them know that you've walked him already... If he doesn't already have a reserve, I would let them know that you are really interested, subject to introductions...... Ooooh! Fingers crossed eh

I rang today n booked to come bring my spaniel thyme to meet jakey, will it be love at first sight? Prob not but I'm hoping for a characteristic springer indifference!
Loved the new look its taken years off him, but might go insane with two springers obsessed with tennis balls they won't give back!!!!

You need to chat to the home staff Skye, I'd either give them a ring or wait until Sat. when you go down there -

Seems there was a reason Jake has been paying particular attention to his personal appearance this week... 'Thank you Donna, not too short around the tail please' ... because he had a special date today with two lovely ladies this morning... 'Bow Wow Mum! Who's the dude with the haircut? '... 'Well, what d'you think? Shall we take him home'? 'Yey! I got a new brother'! Jake and his new big sister had a nice parallel walk this morning, and then spent some sniffin' time getting to know each other...... and everyone agreed they make a lovely couple Good luck on your new sofa Jake
