aw he's lovely eh? He was an absolutely gentleman when he came out for his picture! I offered him some pate, and I swear he said 'Pardon me' before he gently, gently kissed my fingertips, and if he could have said 'Why, thank you ma'am!' he would have. He really does have the kindest face. It will be really interesting to hear what he's like on his lead, and away from the kennel environment. I'm sooooo glad you and Bridie have a camera pinkandfluffy, I can't wait to see the pics of Mike out walkies ;D

Took the loveable Mike out for a walk today. He was very excited to be out and about and pulled quite a bit as he was sooo interested in the smells and sounds around him. He wasnt too keen on the having the lead around him and he would benefit from some lead training. My daughter needed a stick for a project in school so managed to find a fine looking one on the walk.....unfortunately, Mike had other ideas about who the rightful owner of the stick should be and started pulling and tugging it until Bridie let go. He then dropped it and showed little interest in it.......until Bridie picked it up again Mike was able to sit for treats with a little bit of help from us and decided that when we had a rest on a bench this would be the opportunity to lick us both to death On the way back, Mike found an old steering wheel and attempted to carry this back, with one leg inside it, he had to walk sideways to achieve this.....what a character! Mike would make a great pet, clearly loves playing and having 'toys' (even if they dont belong to him), he wasnt bothered by traffic, joggers or cyclists and wanted to play with other dogs we met. We had a great time out with Mike, laughed a lot, got slobbered on and licked to bits.....hope he finds his forever home soon

Well we almost took the gorgeous boy home, but with a toddler and a cat already we felt that Mike probably deserves someone with a bit more time and energy to take him for walks and play! He is a lovely dog though, be quick or he'll be gone! Good luck , look forward to hearing how you settle into your forever home xxx

I took Mike for a walk today and he is such a gentle dog... Not just on the lead, but taking treats too. He also loved a cuddle, he was very affectionate would be perfect for any family. Also I walked him with Indie (K11) and they were both very friendly with each other

Took the gorgeous Mike for a walk today, he still pulls quite a bit and can be very determined to check out anything he thinks is interesting - other dogs (he's very friendly), other people (again he's very friendly), plastic bags (bit weird but Mike thinks everything is a toy)! We were very keen to try out our brand spanking new doggy water bottle, and initially Mike was glad of the drink and used it appropriately.......until I tried to put it away! Mike was very determined not to give the water bottle back and had great fun squirting me with water every time I tried to get near him, he is such a playful and mischievous dog despite being covered with water, it was great to play with him. Mike doesnt respond to the word 'drop'! Mike does know the word 'sit' and 'stay' and he does these very well especially if it means he gets a treat (which he takes extremely softly) Mike enjoyed lots of cuddles and his playful nature meant he's always ready to turn everything into a game, often teasing me with sticks he found along the way..... Mike could definately do with a bit of training but he is soooo eager to please he would be a quick learner and make such a loving and loyal companion. He really needs a forever home soon, and perhaps an extra strong water bottle..... ;D

This news almost made me cry with happiness!! I walked Mike a couple of times last week ( I left a big write up at the home before I came on the forum!). He is so full of affection and has such a sweet face! Way to go Mike. Loads of luck to you and your new family.
