Ohhhhh Mr Jay-Jay Had a lovely 90 min walk with this lovely boy today! He comes out, wanting to walk! He is very much into walking, smelling....yet he is a star on the lead, zero pulling, and not reactive to other dogs, just a waggy tail We made our way towards Cardiff bay, via the hill, and Jay loved all the smells around, and did not mind even when an offlead dog bounded towards us, just a waggy tail while the owner put hers on a lead When we got to the top by the chains, Jay showed his affectionate side! He got on his back, and showed off his lovely tummy for some tickles! He then gave me a kiss, and was happy to sit next to me, head cwtched into my lap We went down to the retail park, then back around via the river, and Jay was an absolute star! Lovely boy, who really is just a big cuddle monster, and would give you love forever, could you be that one to give Jay a chance and be his forever family?

Becoming one of my regular walks, lovely Jay! Again, a gentleman to take out, almost zero pulling, no reaction to other dogs when walking past, and don't forget the staffy snogs! A real gem of dog is this boy, come and find out how special he is xx

We passed you on Sat walking Bella and Jay certainly seemed to be enjoying the fusses he was getting. His big staffie smile was beaming from ear to ear. Such a handsome chappie, fab pics too.

My first walk with Jay this afternoon... and boy what a treat! Another addition to the loose lead club - he pulled gently for about 30 seconds and then settled in to a nice pace right next to me for an hour. He was a very low maintenance walk... focused, head down and not flustered by anything (including dogs, seagulls, people, sticks, traffic, trains, you name it). He would have gladly carried on walking without the slightest bit of fuss, but I'd be neglecting my walking duties if I didn't stop for a cuddle! When we stopped, he was gentle and polite and was very good taking treats in return for some sit and paw shakes. I got to see his little personality too, as you can see he has a very expressive face Best of luck gentle Jay xx

Simple put, Jay is perfect. I have long been a fan of Jay & absolutely love spending time with him. I'm amazed he has not been snapped up & after day I was cursing myself for not being in a position to take him home with me forever, because there was nothing more I wanted at the end of today then to take him home & not return him to the dogs home - today I lost my heart to Jay completely. As Jay has been at the home for a while now I decided he needed a fun day out, a day being treated like a king with the Sun beating down on him & the wind in his hair - so today, we went on an adventure! We set off my the home early this morning & Jay was raring to go, after a quick toilet walk we were good to go. Jay was happy to get in the car & we heard nothing from him at all, as soon as we were on the move he was sitting nicely or snuggled down (he did tell me I need to work on my roundabouts though, as apparently he felt he was on a rollercoaster cheeky monkey) Jay really was perfect in the car, no noise, sat well, waited brilliantly when ready to jump out of the crate & car. He was a brilliant car guest. Our first stop was our village for a brew & a walk. Jay loved all the new smells & he really does like investigating things - no smell if not sniffed with Jay around! Jay walks like a dream, he does like to plod along at a steady pace but he does not pull. After a lovely stroll we headed to a cafe for a lot of tea, Jay sat perfectly outstde the cafe & made all the ladies swoon! Jay encountered a lady in a wheelchair & was so gentle with her, he made no effort to jump up to her at all but simply rested his head in her lap for her to scratch his ears (my heart nearly broke!). Following a brew, we hit the road again & headed to Raglan castle - as to me, Jay is a king & kings need castles! Again, Jay was a delight in the car. Once at the castle Jay was in his element, there was lots to smell & many things to climb! Jay tackled the castle like a pro - no ruin was too high for him to climb! We even climbed one of the towers so king Jay could view his land Jay made many friends at the castle, everyone commented on how gorgeous he is & how well behaved he was being! After our fun at the castle we headed to a lovely pub & spent some time in the beer garden, Jay loved lounging in the Sun & soaking up lots of cuddled from us! Our final stop of our day was penarth, where we took a leisurely stroll & had some chips near the pier. Jay was a dream once more, with lots of friendly smiles & a waggy tail for all he saw. Jay had a ball today & so did we. Jay is the most charismatic dog I have met for a long time: he is smart, comical, loyal, friendly, well mannered, well behaved, loving & affectionate. To me, he is perfect. If you pop down to see Jay please take the time to get to know him properly, he does come out focused on his walk but honestly give him 15/20 minutes to walk & do his business & he will reward you with a lovely staffie smile & such love. Take you time to get to know him, it'll be worth it I promise you, Jay will reward your time & patience by being the most loyal dog ever, who will make you laugh with his roling around in long grass & give the most amazing cuddles. I hope Jay is snoring his head off right now after our wonderful day (I'm off to dry my tears, as this boy really has stolen my heart today) xx

Great to see the adventures of Jay & Jen +1 yesterday . Jay certainly had a grand day out but was still very happy to accompany me on a shorter wander this morning with instruction from Emma & Bec to have him back by opening time as there was someone coming to see him - fingers crossed for you Jay.
