What a beautiful write up for a beautiful boy. It's right what you say when you take them out you see a different dog,and I'm so pleased for him that you took the time and effort to give him such a lovely relaxing day out. Good boy Jay X

Our first proper walk as volunteer dog walkers and what a treat we had with Jay! What a smiley boy he is, he literally beams for ear to ear. A pleasure to walk, no pulling or silliness, he enjoyed a sniff and a bit of a jog with us, without a fuss. He was good as gold when we passed other dogs. I can't say enough lovely things about him. Would have loved to have brought him home with me!
Ps. He's handsome too!

He's wonderful, isn't he? We passed you (I think) as we were coming out of the lane with Vince. I spotted Jay's name on the list earlier but wasn't sure if it was the same Jay as he'd been rehomed earlier in the week. Unfortunately, on seeing you, I realised it was our Jay. Hopefully he'll find himself a new home soon!

I took Jay out this evening and he was rearing to go! he pulled a little going up the lane but soon settled into a good walk. He knew where he wanted to go and I was happy to explore with him. He's a great dog and I enjoyed our walk together.

Such a beautiful boy! Walked the wonderful Jaydog yesterday, I can't really say anymore then what has been said before - still perfect, still needs a home. He is however being a scally with his lead again though, so walkers when the lead is handed over just walk straight away, he's just being a show off at the mo! See you next week stunning boy x

Every time I come to this website the first time I do is check on Jay to see if he has been moved to the forever homes. C'mon people - he's beautiful, a star on the lead and has done enough time in kennels. Don't overlook this little stunner.

Hi there, is he ok with children aged 10+ and how is he around other dogs? I lost my big boy in November last year and rather than get a puppy I'm thinking to give a home to a lovely dog that's been with you too long.

I've walked Jay a couple of times with my boys (7 and 8). They adore him, and he was fine with them. He's a really lovely boy.

That's really good news. I first spotted him at the beginning of July but had holidays planned and didn't want to rush into things. I've been checking back and fore regularly seeing how he's doing. Any idea how he gets along with other dogs? It says he's fine while walking but I'm wondering if he gets on with other dogs in general?

He hasn't reacted at all around other dogs when we've been out with him, and we have passed him out and about a few times, but the best thing to do would be to pop down and have a chat with the staff as they know him best. Good luck, he really is a special boy. X
