I on the hunt for large plastic planters. Preferably the kind that small trees and climbers are sold in. They need to have drainage holes. I've got some plants that will look great in the yard but they need to be contained. If anyone has any stashed away, or knows someone with a nursery or garden centre please bring to Last Sunday. Thanks, Rach

Aw bless The lovely people at Gullivers very kindly donated a free van for the transport run, but obviously won't cover the deisel. The fuel costs were covered by a Friends volunteer, but as we have another run coming up next week, Friends have offered to help transport Sparky to his new home in Wigan, it's a lot of money to ask one person to stump up, so all contributions would be massively appreciated There's a rumour that the Bagmobile will be setting up for teas, coffees and squash too ;D Stop me and buy one ;D

We have a storeroom full of soft toys, lovingly restored to their former glory by the folks in Woodlands. We want to avoid stockpiling all these soft toys and so we are going to have a fairground stall, 'Knock the tins down and win a toy' at Fairwater Show. We're collecting empty and washed tin cans and we're going to make bean bags for knocking the tins over. So as well as everything elase we've asked for, now we need a plentiful supply of lentils and/ or dried beans to stuff the bags with. Please bring them along to the Last Sunday.
Thank you so much.

Just a quick round up of this month's 'Most Wanted' for this Sunday's Last Sunday at CDH. I will be there from 11 to 1 as usual.
Large plant pots with drainage holes Native bedding plants. (Does anyone have a wild honeysuckle and or clematis growing that they could dig up gently and bring along. The scent is divine and it is such a beautiful plant. It would help to hide the wire monstrosity) Lentils, beans etc for making beanbags. Beanbags made up already - about 5 inch square (a fistful) Clean empty tin cans for our fairground stall.
All the regular items welcome too - car booty, craft haberdashery, donations for the Home and Woodlands.
Thanks very much,
Rach ;D
